Memories Page. A sampling of the fabulous restaurants,
museums, hotels, tours, and adventures we enjoyed while
in NZ.
One great
day (DAY 7) we had, was a private wine tour of New
Zealand wineries in the Marlborough region on the South
Island, in and around the town of Blenhiem. NZ wines are
just wonderful and are becoming world renown. Our guide
took us to 7 wineries, where we tasted 2-4 varieties of
each of their wines. This area of NZ is well known for
their sauvignon blancs, but a few of the other whites and
reds we tasted were very tasty indeed. Unfortunately we
were only able to take home 2 bottles of wine! Funny, I
didn't get any pictures of that day. Hic! I wonder
why?
