This is Christchurch in the South Island. You can see why it's called "The Garden City". On DAY 5, we explored the city - visiting Cathedral Square, the Botanical Gardens, The Art Centre, So. Encounter Aquarium and the Canterbury Museum. Christchurch is considered the most "English" city in NZ. Instead of "Punting along the Thames" you can "Punt along the Avon River", a small river or canal that runs through the Gardens and the city. |
